It has been awhile since I have blogged.  This largely has been due to business projects and a severe health issue my mom experienced.  After frequent doctor visits and various tests, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer.  A couple of months ago she underwent a hysterectomy.  After the surgery the surgeon expressed concern there were some indications that the cancer may have spread outside the uterus.  The picture he presented was one that did not promise much hope.  

Needless to say the next few days spent waiting on the pathology report were long and stressful.  When the pathology report came back the Lord blessed us with WONDERFUL news!  The cancer was contained to the uterus and Mom did not need any post treatment. 

Thought I would share my story as a way of offering encouragement to those who may find themselves in a smiliar situation.  Be encouraged knowing there is always hope, even when things may appear hopeless.

It is hard to believe that September has arrived.  Soon we will begin the excitement and enjoyment of the Christmas season.
