I've been away from blogging for a while because of family health issues.  My Dad passed away last month.  Miss him terribly and know the holidays will not be the same without him.

However my family and I are blessed with some wonderful memories of Dad.  We have videos of Dad at past Christmases and other special occasions, a slide-show presentation filled with wonderful precious memories of him and lots of photos.

I cannot begin to tell you how precious these videos; slide-show and photos of Dad are to us now.  Often when it comes to taking pictures or videos we are in such a rush or just tired and don't feel like messing with getting the camera out.

This Christmas I would like to encourage everyone to take the time to capture your holiday memories on video or with digital photos.  This is especially true for families that have young children.  Years later it will be such a blessing to you and your family as you enjoy sharing past treasured memories through videos and photos.
